Dialogs With Seekers of Truth - 1

1st Dialogue

Seeker: Tell me Satyavan: how much silence is necessary for awakening? Better yet to awaken the Seeker of Truth? If I am I, I still hesitate, even if I say and affirm repeatedly like a mantra I am, I hesitate ... how much silence is still necessary? How much? ...

Satyavan: From the seeker's silence emerge the screams of his own illusion! The seeker of comfort avoids them, pretends they are nothing, waits for them to pass ... The seeker of truth embraces them, even if he travels to the deepest agony, he doesn’t stop until he breaks free from his fears! Silence is the light that shows the illusion, and fears are the guardians of it. If silence does not show these fears, then it is not yet silence! If the seeker doesn’t embrace them, then he is not yet a seeker of Truth! The seeker of comfort suffers much more and for longer periods, and will inevitably be "forced" to face his fears ... and the seeker of truth suffers just a short time, though intensely, then Freedom, Joy! Empty your cup of individuality and all your beliefs / fears, know who You truly Are!

Dialogs With Seekers of Truth - 2

2nd Dialogue

Seeker: I plan to go to India, but I'm thinking that spending a few days with you in retreat can make a big difference to my trip. I have some questions that are still not very clear to me ... I want to learn to meditate, you talk about techniques, I think I don’t have them, so I'm in trouble, I need to learn to concentrate. The yoga courses here in my town are mere gyms, without the development of consciousness, there is something missing (Sankhya). I'm reading the Bhagavad-Gita, the teachings of Sri Shankaracharya and Patanjali attract me much, but to put into practice I need help. The process is crucial and I really feel a bit lost. As you said: "the blind leading the blind", or worse, a lot of people out there just reproducing texts, doing yogic contortions and naming themselves yogis ... You did not cite texts (references lol!), But I realize them in-between. You speak of a place (Rishikesh?). Well, right now I'm just trying to be silent, trying to meditate, doing japa. I want to see things as they really are, out of illusion. Satyavan, you know, sometimes I have the impression that the thing is so simple, so simple that it is put aside for thinking that the truth lies behind a complex puzzle which we have to unravel, through a higher intellectual function, Is there that illusion rests?

Satyavan: eheheheh ... The reason why I don’t quote texts (bibliographic references) is because there are none! If you notice them it is only you associating this texts with something else, if they are in tune is because they speak the same "thing" ... If there is any purpose in What I wright in the texts, perhaps is to "guide" in a way that only the most attentive realize ... The practice is only for the realization of truth, and not to give meaning to what is understood as the life of the body, what most seekers are really wanting is a purpose to give to the illusion that they identify with, that’s why there is no "moving  forward", they are just looking for a comfortable existence and not of the" origin ", and that is a big or “The Big "mistake. The Realization of Truth is really quite simple, the harder it is to "let go" of illusion. The teachings of yoga guides from illusion to reality but their interpretation is conditioned by the level of understanding / awareness of the aspirant, but still if followed with diligence, in honesty the aspirant’s level of understanding, it gives support to break with illusion, with his own beliefs. Regarding the techniques I don’t speak any more about them, because it's irrelevant... more important than the techniques is the motivation, the will! Even the texts that you read here, what you understand and what I wrote are almost entirely different universes; the words receive the meaning that the reader gives them. Here in the Ashram I don’t give the teachings of yoga, but I go directly to “The Point”, what limits you here and now, no philosophies, and no distractions, directly to the point. The real India is the center of silence that you are, You Are Totality.

Seeker: no philosophies, directly to the point ... this is wonderful! I wonder ... Well… if I understand that I am not this body, I am part of All ... How to break the identification with the body? And how do we identify with the Absolute? You see ... just knowing that (intellectually) is not enough, and there it is: how to link to the Absolute, how to remove this illusory distance so hard to "let go"? If you "guide" is because there is a path, right? What is it? Who are those that are most attentive?

Satyavan: To try to know the truth through your own beliefs is like a cat chasing to catch his own tail... you say that you understand that you are not the body, you say that you are part of the whole (concept of the body and concept of the whole, when I refer to body I speak of individuality), but the clear notion as "everybody" has and it couldn’t be otherwise, that I (the identity) is something apart (yes this says a lot), even if you imagine you have to identify with the whole, as if the whole were made from parts, as if you were a part of the whole, as if the parts are real ... Is there is any path? If you call to the abandoning of all ideas and paths, a path, then we have a path, stillness, the zero point. Really just knowing about it is not enough... Or you begin to abandon illusion, and deal with the fears that emerge from this process, or it will persist even if you theorize that this is just a dream. Suffering and joy also arise in what you call the dream state, and when you wake up from the dream, the dream loses all its importance with the clear understanding that it is a dream. Here in what you call reality the only difference is that you believe it to be real thus it persists, you invest in this, you have dreams here, completely immersed in illusion, convinced that that from where recognition is taking place, and that which is being recognized is real the way it presents itself. Remember the words I put here have a meaning, but the words that see here get a totally different meaning, according to your beliefs. True communication is heart to heart. Don’t just stay there enchanted with the heat luminosity of the fire, come closer, come and burn in it.

Seeker: Yesterday you told me that you do not pass teachings of yoga at the Ashram, but you go straight to the point, what limits you here and now, no philosophies, directly to the point. Today, you say that trying to know the truth through our own beliefs is like a cat that tries to catch his own tail ... "From" where do you speak? Who introduced you to this fire, or did you sought this fire yourself? This question will help me reflect on what you said.

Satyavan: I speak from direct knowledge, these are no theories that I’m presenting you. This fire sparked in me and never stopped burning until nothing was left ... All aid (teachings) would point to silence, and I dove into it, I have plunged in the fire of my own silence. But you know this is unimportant, if this confirmation is necessary for you to open yourself to the words above, then they don’t serve you, if you seek the security of the credibility of these words, then they don’t serve you. This is for the heart. The mind doubts, the heart always knows. But like I said, it's irrelevant, I'm irrelevant; when you dive in your own silence you will know until then you'll just theorize. If this helps you than great, if it doesn’t help you, great ... but this is for the heart, the mind knows nothing, and so much confidence is placed in the same ... Don’t believe me. Investigate!

Seeker: I'm investigating (internally) everything you told me. Trying to hear my silence. The fire was weak. You put fuel on the fire lol
  Thank you...!

Dialogs With Seekers of Truth - 3

3rd dialogue

Seeker: Dear Satyavan, "The name of the game you’re playing now is entertainment" ... of course! Why? Or rather, why not? Investigate ... what would be the karma, maya or prana? It would be tragic if it wasn’t hilarious how the answer is so obvious. Occupy myself, but occupy myself with what really? That message may seem a little silly at this point. Returning to the same questions, who I am, who are you ... after all, can you trust these memories? The whole tale repeats itself, and as you yourself said, one day, "this will be an epic." And writing this leaves me with a doubt about if I will ever see you again; if you my master have dismissed me forever in secrecy. I once heard in a song that "the proximity increases the distance." Perhaps never seeing you again can be great. But this is part of my show, to be has peter pan and live in never land. rs Peace and Light

Satyavan: Eheheheh how many points covered ... You know, communication has really these things , you know words are in themselves empty of any meaning, it is empathy that makes communication. The key: A heart that overflows and a heart that longs to receive. If there is no empathy between the sender and receiver, communication becomes poor, or simply doesn’t happen. Another common phenomenon is: words leave the sender with meaning X, and when they reach the receiver, they receive the receivers own meaning to the same words, and the original message is lost in this way, leaving only confusion. The texts that you will find here are not literal... they are kind of encrypted... So your comment refers to your text, and I invite you to read my text! But for this you will need the code and it is called empathy/love between sender and receiver. You'll have to come to the text instead of taking the text to you! To "Investigate ... what would be karma , maya or prana ? " Eheheh , That’s what most people think that I mean... Investigation has nothing to do with it ... That is only investigation of the dream... just entertainment... " Who am I , who are you ... can you really trust these memories? " eheheh ... the second question ( who are you ) , defeats the purpose of the first ( who am I) ... The investigation of who am I has nothing to do with personality / body scenario, and it’s history, and is to that that memory refers to... theoretically there may be even the notion that one is not the body , but in practice that is the implicit truth behind each and every apparent action... The epic of which I spoke of is different from the one that you have understood...  Has long has the dream is so important, these words will be encrypted and there will be no code ... But in your "case" I know that the "dream" hasn’t that much power over you; you know a lot in yourself, and it becomes increasingly difficult to reconcile that which seems real with that which comes from your knowing... these cycles of despair towards hope, and from hope back to despair, are far more overwhelming, you need to mature... I don’t dismiss  any one of you , I just wait patiently for all of you, until you’re ready, and I'm always here. Do you really want to come “here”, or are you okay “there”? Caution eheheh these words may be encrypted... depending on the focus! The man in the boat just patiently awaits those wishing to cross the river , he doesn’t seek anyone, he just waits ... he knows his river, and knows that the only ones that can cross the river, are those who have no more interest in this river bank, or at least when the urge to cross the river is higher than the interest in the river bank... many try in vain to put one foot in the boat , and stand with the other foot on the bank, and most of these, find that when the boat begins to move , immediately they take the foot of the boat, remaining in the shore... The man in the boat knows that what all really want is on the other side of the river, and not the in that bank, but while that margin of the river is so precious, no one will believe him. Only suffering (recognition of the obvious about that river bank) may to a certain extent help abandoning it... Meanwhile, the man in the boat waits... I didn’t clarified the points above, I’ve only showed some of your confusions, if you have any interest you will investigate a little more...

Seeker: Dear Satyavan, do we really have an option? From the moment we know ourselves, we realized that the path is always one, but the "possibilities" are many... I've "met" the man of the boat and crossed the river. RSRSRS What did I found? Hum, let’s just say that some things are better left unsaid, because love needs no words. I also wait patiently. Perhaps for the same reasons that you Sir is also waiting. Oh Master. Of course you Sir would say words like this. But did you ever wondered that this would also be my text? My answer? I know you Sir ... well ... I'd rather say that I only know, or rather I feel, that your presence is like this. For me this is not an issue of observation, but of vigilance. I don’t know if I’ve understood the epic you talk about. But I do realize mine: "Every day is a coming and going, life repeats itself in this season, there are people who come to stay, there are people who will go and will never come back, there are people who have come and want to go back and there are people who go away and wants to stay there, there are people who just came to look, there are people smiling and crying ... "And yes, this is also an encrypted message. But you will understand, even if it is in your own way, you will understand. I remember crying with you, perhaps one day, you will cry with me.

Satyavan: The words I sent you are accurate and perfectly suiting this moment, see where they take you ... The questions that arise "inside of you" show you your illusion. Has for the man of the boat, you haven’t still met him my dear, if you speak of love then you have met the "boat", which in itself is essential, but you haven’t yet met the man of the boat, nor have you crossed the river. I know well the meaning of your words, and then the answer comes like this, and no, you haven’t understood your epic yet, you just believe you’ve understood ... these certainties brought you to this point, in a sterile world of understanding, but they will succumb, because they have already fulfilled their purpose, there is no way and no point of it being differently. When these certainties lose their importance, then it will be time to meet again ... and this will be inevitable my dear! Near the end, immediately before you cross the river, I will cry with you in the splendor of joy. Until then I will wait for the emptying of your cup.

Seeker: So, on one thing you may be right: I have not even started. The questions are merely illustrative. The answers are also illustrative. What I'll watch is the succession of days, but what I’m waiting is for is the end. What will be of me until then? Of this I've always been? I'm just here for planet Earth and mankind. There are many forms of love, but my love is unique. And so be it: Brahma-Vishnu-Shiva.

Satyavan: That's right my dear ... the succession of days and waiting for the end ... and this has nothing to do with " The Epic " , this is completely uninteresting , is automatic mechanical! It's just a constant surprise from the point where you find yourself in the knowledge / realization of yourself. At all times there arises in what you call your intimate space of perception: sensations , emotions and feelings , that you imagine to be yours, to be real, that seem to trigger from small oscillations to true cataclysms, and that is a part of the show, of the entertainment ... this will continue until the so called end , and then it will start again , tirelessly... I know that you know a bit of the "your greatness" but you confuse it with the body/scenario, from where you experience yourself now. During all times you observe the automatic/mechanic unfolding in what you call your life ( the life of the body) , and the most important goes unnoticed, That in there that observes it all, the Source of Splendor that You Are . What mankind do you speak of if only You exist, if you Are Totality? Many of the problems that you have experienced has been because you brought "too much luggage" (knowledge of yourself) for such a tiny wardrobe (body/mind complex), the perception of splendor... The Epic is the realization of the source That Splendor, and has nothing to do with the life of the body/mind! With respect to the mind/body, all of that will "fulfill" itself, by itself ... "You bring in yourself " a little of the perception of Splendor, you lack plunging into the source and dissolving in it . That (the life of the mind/body) no longer really convinces you, but you find yourself without an alternative and "you just keep on going "...in the dream, the beginning announces the end, and the end announces the beginning! As long has the importance is in the dream it will be just as you have experienced till now. In fact the "dream" that which for you seems real, that seems to have a purpose is just entertainment, to distract you from the Rea ... while the importance is attributed to the dream, the most important will go unnoticed and the dream will fulfill it’s real purpose: to distract you! In that which you call a dream (dreaming state), you experiment complete worlds unfolding in from of you with its events , a body , a scenario , and a mankind… when you "wake up" that world to which you call real, "emerges" ... from where did that dream world came, and where did it go? And where did the world you call real go? The certainty of one’s own purpose and the importance associated with it has been the pacifier of the turbulent waters of discontent with that which seems to be real... But is it really? I assure you it isn’t! All this will have to break sooner or later! You'll have to put your luggage aside as if you knew nothing, and nonconformity will be your greatest ally! You are not the body/mind, a being of mankind , You Are Totality ! Awake to Yourself!

4th Dialogue

Seeker:
Your words are wise and full of love, however end up losing themselves among so many "being and not being".... It seems so clear for those who speak from the outside, but you cannot imagine how dark it is in here ... I am a person who struggles so much to love and understand myself, the whys of so much pain, but from every psychologist, doctor, medicine, alternative therapies, floral, yoga and meditation, everything goes back to point zero: I just know that I know nothing.
I do not understand, I lose myself in understanding. It’s clear in the beginning, but I lose myself in the end, and from my heart words begin to seek meaning in my brain. What could be clearer to me? How could it be any clearer? In silence I only hear evil words that hit me and hurt me, confirming what I feel to be: crazy, weak and inferior.

Satyavan: My dear, I know the about darkness you speaks of, I know well the process of seeking and not finding, trying and not succeeding, I know well that despair of a relentless struggle that seems to have no end, and I to know the roots of all that...And everything returns to point zero, it really has never left there. Learn more about this point zero, one day it will be point Infinite. Before that you will have to go deep in to these beliefs that you carry, and instead of surrendering to the evil words, give yourself fully to that silence and dissolve in it.Until then that’s the way it’s going to be, the experiences that you will "find" will only confirm that which you belief, because indeed these experiences are the result of those beliefs, then it couldn’t be different...

5th Dialogue

Seeker:
Hello Satyavan, how am I doing there? heheehe ... I've read this article several times and each time I read I understand it differently. I identify a lot with him because I see I have experienced several examples of it, mainly the part of wanting to teach the path without having traveled through it... what a shame! “The Blind leading the blind". I feel really in circles always arriving at the same place as you say. Thoughts that I know will hurt me, I insist in thinking them. Why?
I'm unhappy in my job, I cannot feel pleasure in it, I just do it for money ... I would drop it, but what about bills?? Once again what a shame!! I fit perfectly in this article ... When will I have the courage to abandon illusion, or when will I know what is to abandon illusion? ... In regards of my job, if I abandon it and go to another, will I be happy there? Or is it best to seek pleasure in the current job, because it is a worthy job in this worlds the point of view! Do I really want to break with illusion, as you say ... or I just want to feel better? Till when? What is to break with illusion? Sorry if I'm repeating myself.

Satyavan: Hello friend, you’re always welcome! When stopping the conflict with yourself, you will see how "everything" earns softer colors ... when you literally leave yourself alone, you will see "everything" more clearly ... while the conflict continues, this persecution for yourself, an affliction that seems to have no end will persist... Learn to smile to the thoughts that emerge "in there", don’t give them importance, smile to those inner accusations that emerge "there", all of this are the "anchors" of illusion ... and have no value, beyond that which you assign to them... Happiness has nothing to do with scenarios/circumstances; if you continue to seek happiness in scenarios/circumstances you will always have the same experience... But when, instead of seeking happiness in scenarios/circumstances, you make them an expression of your happiness, of your joy, then naturally, the old scenarios change, even if only to your eyes, but usually they do change. The value of the scenarios/circumstances will remain the same, no value whatsoever! It will continue to be unreal, only the perception of the experience will appear different ... For those who seek comfort, well-being, it may be important, but for those seeking Truth, it will be irrelevant, however it may even be a result of that search for Truth. The story unfolds ... all that which you call your life with all that which you call your understanding, is showing itself empty of meaning, is showing its true nature, the truth in you is a breaking with all that you call your life... Through that road the most natural is that things will change, which apparently slows it all down, are your fears: at least that is what we would say, if by chance the story was the important thing, or at least this side of the story, but this achievement of conquering fears will lead you to awake. Discover your fears and conquer them, live them without running away until they lose their importance! Joy is "there" no need to look for it, just let go of your fears...

6th Dialogue

Seeker:
I'm still sleeping in this world, despite feeling so awake. I see that it is all a dream all the time and often are not the dreams we dream but the dream of others. This may seem right but for me it all seems so wrong ... so full of concepts of right, wrong, freedom, equality that ultimately make no sense. Sometimes, I feel far from home, while here. My experience as a human being has been magical, with its negative and positive, and I feel lonely in this purpose. Will people ever wake up to themselves one day? For the God that exists in each one of them? I once heard that the world is a pantheon of sleeping Gods. I feel it to be true. But I end up catching myself dreaming again. There are no certainties in life. Not even death. If I said I saw the face of death would you believe? And I'm still here, whatever that means. The past does not exist today and the future will be just one more repetition of everything that has happened. There was one day that I was suffering by being more energetic than I should and all I wanted was to go home. And then I thought "Is that what we really want? To return home? In a higher sense?" But one certainty I have. It is love that seals things. It is love that awakens us. The experience in the Ashram never left my mind even for a second, even in dreams. I always return in my mind for that room and you're always there, as my guru. I cannot go this year but I dream that next year we will meet again in the new or old ashram, because this experience made me discover a deep sense of devotion and purity of soul. I'll be happy with an answer :)

Satyavan:
Hello dear, you need to mature, mature, mature. Observe and let go without coming in without going out, without change, without reaching, without leaving, observing and letting go, without changing ... the webs will become thinner fainter, until they disappear... There's nowhere to go to, nowhere to return from, there is only glory, splendor, Wholeness! Waking up, higher sense, lower sense, to return home ... all an illusion, all an illusion ... don’t despair, and even if you do, it doesn’t matter, since all is part of this story that never really happened, and that apparently is taking place in the Infinity of Your splendor! Observe everything, because everything emerges from you, from the center of your being. Observe all that and remove its importance, a lot you will see by seeing nothing. It’s not important, let yourself mature, surrender yourself to joy, surrender yourself to sorrow, surrender yourself to the magic, give yourself to agony, surrender yourself without surrendering, touch without touching, let yourself mature ... I'm always here, I'm always here ...

7th Dialogue

Seeker:
Hello Satyavan, It is hard this silence for those who never did it. In my attempts at meditation is still difficult to keep the focus on "nothing", or should it be in me? Either way it is still difficult ... but thinking on the other hand is already easier than earlier this year, where I was completely lost :)
Sometimes I wonder what is to abandon everything to find my Self. Should I literally abandon the life I lead and go for isolation?? Go to the Himalayas or an ashram? Should I quit my job, my family, and my possessions literally? Is that letting go of attachment? The issue of self-realization doesn’t come out of my head and I end up feeling bad for the constant slips and with such a mundane life. And what about day to day issues? Shouldn’t I worry about them? Or is it to solve them without worrying? Would this be the same as a lack of faith?? :)). I'm sorry about the childish questions but they are inevitable for me.

Satyavan: Good day my friend, these are indeed unavoidable questions for the one who is being "called", because this "calling" begins to question everything that was established, begins to mess with all the structures that you called your life. Insofar as time passes the issue of self-realization will absorb all the attention, until there is no more attention for anything else, in other words it will remove the importance of everything else, returning your awareness to the pristine state. In this process inevitably a lot will change, the said world may apparently continue the "same" but for you nothing will ever be the same ...
Whatever has to be done will be done! If you have to go to the Himalaya, you will! If you have to go to an Ashram, you will! If you have to stay there, you will stay! Any scenario will do, that which determines where the body will be is the body’s destiny. All these questions arise in front of the inevitable; remember that all the apparent changes are not changes, but only the unfolding of the inevitable. Instead of trying to change the scenario, recognize and surrender to the force that is behind all this, and let yourself go. The upheaval is inevitable for those who struggle against the inevitable! Even if you cannot fully detach from that which you call your life, how about a fluid attachment ... like a boat in the port is attached to a rope, which allows the oscillation of the boat with the tide without compromising the boat’s structure, if it was attached with something rigid, the rise or fall of the tide, would break the boat ... The process is unfolding, and there is no way to stop it, see where does this restlessness comes from, and surrender to this force.

Seeker: Satyavan, thank you for your words. The city noise mixes with our internal noise and we end up leaving the inner search. I cannot lose focus. I remember I had a conversation with you about losing focus. How do we maintain focus?

Satyavan : It's all a question of real interest and discernment! Both these noises have the same nature whether external, or internal, and both these noises mask each other, the internal with the external, aside from that which you consider to be noise, there is much more masked noise internally and externally! Evaluate both your internal and external needs, evaluate impartially, and see for yourself. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beggar in the material world or the spiritual world ... a beggar is always a beggar! Perhaps more important than walking from door to door in the hope that someone gives significant alms , and maybe one day you win the lottery , perhaps more important, is to question whether you are really a beggar ! Otherwise you risk waking up in a life that is not yours. What are the promises of this world? And does this world fulfill its promises? Do you need those promises?
You have a lot of willpower, in spite of having a lot of confusion but you are still a bit naive, but don’t underestimate the strength of willpower, because it makes you cross oceans! Resists this world and its noise, resists your weaknesses, and allows yourself to heal! You keep searching for the acceptance of your wife, of the people you know, or the new people with whom you will come across with… Let go of all those undertakings, let go of all those strategies you adopt, isolate yourself from all that, and seek support or several supports as you need in: massages for example, or go and see a movie, do something for your own enjoyment, something that makes you feel very well, without involving anyone else with this idea ever present: that everything I do is for my own cure, to cure this lack of self-love, of not accepting myself, of not liking myself... allow yourself to be your own source of pleasure and amusement, even indirectly... allow yourself to become the main focus of your life, all actions serve the purpose of getting to know yourself, of loving and accepting yourself , and have this in mind, don’t let anything become automatic, spend time with yourself, love yourself as you can, it doesn’t matter, give yourself gifts especially those gifts that contribute to your spiritual growth , because these are the ones that will bring real joy... make it possible, as if you couldn’t live without your own love and acceptance, which in reality you cannot live without, you can only barely survive... and ... if you can ... continue with your meditation... If the question has arisen in your mind, the isolation has nothing to do with the physical body; you can be in a crowd and be completely alone, just remove your attention from them.

Seeker: What do we do when we realize that what is written is true, and yet we are powerless to change??

Satyavan: We surrender ourselves to that greater force that prevents / overrides personal will until the illusion of separateness is removed.

Seeker: Satyavan, I do not know what is real and what is not anymore. I would love to fully awake, but I find that the day to day suffocates me. I do not know what is meditation or what being vegetarian really is. I doubt if I know how to measure what is real and what is illusion. I miss the Ashram. I hope one day we meet again....

Satyavan: Those are great news, not knowing, is very good!! As long has you imagine that you know how to differentiate between real and unreal, you are deeply mistaken ... if you're in search of truth, of who you truly are, then going through the path for the path itself doesn’t work, anything you can do or be here, isn’t real ... this is a dream body, within a dream world, nothing here is real, neither this body nor this mind, nor those emotions, nor those doubts, nor the people who surround you (that body), nor your habits (of the body)... if you're in search of yourself, you have to go beyond, you have to go deep in yourself, giving up everything that is recognized. But as long has you’re seeking recognition and acceptance, you will be fooling yourself, because you will think that you’re trying to find reality, but you'll be firmly anchored in illusion ... know your fears and you will know what ties bind you in illusion / suffering. .. free yourself from fears and the illusion disappears.

Seeker
: Satyavan Hello, I was very happy with your text and I want to be more in touch, but many times I'm afraid to bother you again and again with my doubts and hesitations. Despite you already said several times for me to be comfortable, that it is of no bother to you. I laugh my jaws out when you mentioned about realizing the obvious (referring to happiness). Is it that obvious that I cannot see because I look for it where it is not? Recently I played with my children (at Easter) to hide Easter eggs for them to find. I put the eggs in a very obvious place and it took them a long time to find. Would that be more or less what your referring to?? I understand when I read or you say that the kingdom of God is in us, that we are happiness... but why do we insist on the same things? Why do we care about unimportant things? Why do we get jealous? Why do we have petty attitudes? Why do we kill ourselves working? Why don’t we truly love? ..... What is love?? What is life?? Who am I?? I think a lot about the "old man" as an enemy, and you told me to take good care of the old man. I have thought of that! I just cannot fool myself, thinking that taking care of the "old man" is to give green card to all. Gee! If happiness is so obvious, why am I not enjoying it? How to work well in the world of men?

Satyavan: When playing with your children, I suppose you experienced some kind of joy, but that joy was not in the children, but emerged from you, the scent reveals the flower. It is not necessary to find joy, but only to remove suffering ... The last question who am I, answers all other questions or removes them completely, however, there are still some impediments to ask that question freely... in a more superficial way, we can refer to philosophical, or ideological matters, that in a more intimate way, refers to the beliefs that you have about yourself, that immediately reflects in the beliefs that have about God. In a sense we can say that it is the man who makes God, creating him in his own image, and then with that created image he seeks great achievements ... Ingenuity at least. You don’t enjoy happiness at this moment, because you don’t believe you deserve, and your whole world was "built" upon of this belief. At this point this story is getting new shapes, it will intensify until transformation takes place; all this pressure serves this purpose. For a serious spiritual seeker it is the heart that commands, not the mind, this is already a big key. The heart speaks and the mind executes, it doesn’t question, it just promptly execute. It is for you and others like you that I'm here; not coming to me when you need is the same as not going for the water tap fearing the water to run out. You’re in a spiritual quest, don’t fool yourself, you need help. On the contrary of what may seem when you’re with your wife or friends: the path towards freedom is the Supreme Journey of who is called a human being, that's for what all this has served, it is the pinnacle of evolution!

Dialogs With Seekers of Truth - 12

12th Dialogue

Seeker: I don’t know if I'm exactly at the same level, but the dissatisfaction with myself continues, since I give in easily to the "old man" ... Sometimes I try not to think in those terms, but that's how I identify. In the last 10 days I’ve experienced huge stress in work, where feelings of anger welled me too hard... but it’s getting better with time. Because of these feelings, I hardly meditated, because I could not divert my thinking from the occurred. I would like to be stronger, more determined, and not looking back ... In my house we decide, my wife and I, to delay our separation. I'm really convinced that there is no more love on both sides, but it is a very difficult decision for both of us. Sometimes I really think I will be better off alone... sometimes I think the opposite...
I need to live one day at a time.

Satyavan : Those are hard steps that lead to the Truth or God ... every step of liberation is like giving birth, at the beginning where life was based on illusion, every step towards the truth is like a grenade in you own life ... A mixed conflict plagues the "common" man, the search for truth haunts his heart, but he is consciously in pursuit of happiness , even if it is the same because the truth is supreme happiness, however, happiness to the "common" man, has another meaning , is much more immediate , and refers to a well-being in a life idealized with affection , acceptance , nurturing, full of family and professional achievements, comfort, status, etc... Then conflict is inevitable, the heart (the real quest) takes you down trough paths where you have to question and sometimes let go all the bases that you carry, all misunderstandings, which postpones in a seemingly endless way that comfort that you seek, until your search is ripe...
There is a lot of dissatisfaction in your life and that's a fact! Start there! There is a lot of harshness towards yourself limiting the perception of the Divine, even your philosophical affinity reflects this posture... but your heart speaks louder than your intellect can go, and this will be more valuable in the long run... The old man is a bitter man, sad and trapped in a seemingly impregnable fortress. That old man doesn’t have what to live for except the promises that never come to pass, and has learned to receive some wellbeing from quick but devastating sources to its own ethical values.... This man needs care, needs attention if the cane is dry and is bent too much it breaks, and you need to soften it to bend without breaking. You are dissatisfied in several areas, and you don’t open new doors, that which is surely will wither to death... Start by seeking healthier ways of gratification, seek a little fun, spend quality time with yourself, make it something primal in your life , but not as an escape from life , but include it in your life, in your family , with your children, but always thinking about your well-being and contentment, spend quality time , see your God in all this , also see your God in your “wrong” sources of gratification , see Him there at your side in love and acceptance, don’t lose sight of Him even for one minute, even in those moments of shame, let Him be your shoulder, wake up to life, and life will wake up for you. By making your life more enjoyable with more quality pleasures, will make the need for other things to decrease and eventually disappear, it may take some time because of the habit, but it will disappear for sure. You need to embrace and love the old man, otherwise no new man will ever be born. Marriages are never won or lost, never. Seek joy in yourself, by yourself, and see how your life changes, maybe not the way you imagine, but for sure in a much better way!
This posture has become comfortable for you, because of the children both of you allow yourselves to be enclosed in that little hole, but I assure you if you are still there is because there is still something that keeps you there, or else the children wouldn’t be enough to keep you together... It takes courage to go beyond the established and change the attitude, it lacks will, motivation, the habit of being unhappy is stronger... but to seek God is to seek joy, where all sadness (meaning lack of understanding) must/will disappear, and this is the hardest, don’t hesitate ... Happiness is the scariest thing for the old man ! And even if you have to go to the bottom of the well, then no problem, all roads lead to the Father!

Dialogs With Seekers of Truth - 13

13th Dialogue

Seeker: I even began to question the meaning of life, are we here only to create a personality that seeks only our own interest, food, housing, luxury, would it be just that? What is the purpose of our intelligence, reason, conscience? "

Satyavan :
those are fundamental questions, that while they do not get answers they will emerge from time to time and shake that personality with all its structures, ways of life, values, etc. , constantly raising profound questions about yourself and the world that is recognized. Deep down there is no difference between having a purpose or having no purpose, the illusion is the same. The life of the body/mind unfolds, and as the being dreams about life and remains plunged in it, unaware of his own beauty, unaware of who he Truly Is. No matter where this body/mind is, what it is doing, who you think you are, the illusion is the same ... all scenarios and experiences that that intelligence , reason, conscience  experiences are there to enable the observer to stop and to question the purpose of it all. The vast majority believes that this questioning doesn’t lead anywhere, because they believe deeply that what they experience is real, and that is a waste of time, and that they will miss other more important things, that they may lose while daydreaming... they couldn’t be more wrong... What are you trying to understand, as if to decide, is not as you well imagine, it has its own flow , its own axis of continuity, this line of temporality is not what you think it is, there is no point (being) that moves in a space for a certain time, all that is emerging from your center, from your own existence , of your being , the same I that experiences these events in this scenario, which you call reality is the same I that experiences the events to which you call a dream, and there is no difference between these states...
However and within that which was asked, the story that is unfolding has several steps, and all serve a purpose, but not your purpose, at least not as you imagine. There's always a part that dies so that another may be born, but nothing really happens. Whether there are judgments of value about yourself, whether you want it to be one way or another, it just happens the way it has to happen. Intelligence is the ability to look at life and yourself, and realize that appearances are deceptive, and don’t giving up until Truth is found! If you don’t know who you are, where you come from, where you’re going and why? What then is all that for? There is a greater mystery, a brightness, a radiance to discover! Is it the beauty of the saints that you are seeking, or are you seeking your own beauty? In reality, beauty is another word for Truth.

Satsang - Conversations with Satyavan

Satsang is a meeting to clarify doubts of the spiritual path. Here, Satsanga, no matter where you come from or where you are going, or what your luggage is. The talks, or subjects of the Satsang, it is you who brings, according to your questions. You don’t need to have any prior knowledge of spirituality, of any lineage, philosophy, you just need to have doubts of your journey. Generally, those beings who seek some spiritual philosophy, have questions that need answers, have grievances that need attention, something that moves them and often they do not understand, some kind of dissatisfaction takes away their peace, then they follow any one of the available paths that they most identify, to try to satisfy those issues / grievances. They are often distracted in the midst of so much knowledge that they supposedly have to learn and eventually forget the questions that star it all. Satsang is not just for Yogis, but for all seekers of freedom, of Truth!

Spiritual Retreat – Moving Towards the Sublime!

Spiritual Retreat – Moving Towards the Sublime!

- When there is a close observation of the mechanisms of what appears to be casual in its origin, it is Spiritual Retreat!

- When attention is freed from the mechanisms of what appears to be casual and remains at the origin, it is “returning home"!

- When the observation merges with the observer, it is the Supreme Realization! Pure Joy! Totality!

Going for a Spiritual retreat is to surrender to what is Highest in you. In terms of personality there may be several motivations: rest, relax, seeking answer for the questions and of the material life or the spiritual life, the deepening of practice ... but in reality has nothing to do with it ... Making a spiritual retreat is to surrender to the fire of the will of Self-Realization! In the silence, all your illusions emerge ... the challenge? To stay in the stillness, in silence! Personality is the misconception, the interface in the dream, for the dream. The desire to make a spiritual retreat is the desire to awake from the dream. When the fire of this desire arises, the person must surrender to this fire and stay on it. For those who have never had that moment of spiritual retreat, and want to come here in the Ashram, need to understand that everything here that you will encounter serves this purpose, the Spiritual Retreat. Possibly you will find a world completely different from anything you have ever met. The key is adapting and Surrender. It is normal to have a lot of expectations about what you will experience, the mind needs to feel in control at all times, although the obvious remains obvious that there is no control, yet the need remains. Bring your questions yes, brings all that, but come with an open mind, I assure you that it will not be like you expected, but if you give yourself to what you find here, it will be much better than you could ever imagine. A spiritual retreat is a solemn moment, of work, surrender, silence. It is in this stillness that all your illusions/suffering dissolve. In the beginning there will be a need to get out of silence, out of stillness, to socialize your way out of it, to continue seeking attention, affection, understanding, but if you can cut it all, and remain in stillness, you will know a glory never before experienced. If you want to know more about spiritual retreat read the text below " The mind seeks knowledge, the heart seeks the Truth!

Seeking Happiness is the search of Identity!

Hello friend, welcome ... so have been very busy? It’s a lot of aspirations isn’t it? Aspirations of safety, comfort, satisfaction, accomplishment, realization, and all this in what you believe/imagine to be real, the life of the body and its possibilities/potential ...

Before proceeding, I must warn you that these words have nothing to do with a new philosophy, or an ancient one, but with the fire of Truth, with timelessness! Don’t allow the thirst for answers, and the belief in your own questions, to block your understanding ...

If you fit the profile "seeker of matter", ie someone whose focus is only on their material aspirations, and ignores, or does not attribute any importance to the so called transcendent realities, then I must tell you that you're actually lucky, the level of aspirations is much less, the needs are more immediate, therefore the confusion/frustration, is more immediate, the pain is more intense, and this is an advantage, even if it doesn’t looks that way, because while the suffering is intense , there can be no conformity with the status quo, and that strength is what will draw you that state of delusion ...

If you fit the profile "spiritual seeker", ie someone whose focus is only on their spiritual aspirations, then it could complicate a bit, depending on your beliefs ... It can be entertaining for the rest of your life, or depending on the beliefs, it can mean even entertainment for several lifetimes ... and worse, possibly you have understood some things about human life and it’s aspirations, and because you understood the obvious about human suffering, possibly in this sphere everything is fine , which means you lost a valuable ally, suffering,  with a bit of luck there can remain a little restless ...

If you have identified with both groups, and believe that one completes the other, or that one maintains the other, or even that there are no differences from each other, then it’s a bit more complicated ... because the benefits of the first group, the most immediate suffering, are diluted in the understanding of the second group, and hope is renewed more easily, or doesn’t even get to die ...

Yes, I know these words sound very strange, because they go against the very mechanisms of mental understanding, against the "bricks" that form thoughts, in their primary structures ... keep an open mind!
What if the "rules of the game", were not those you imagine? A magician when performing a trick, will distract your attention with one hand, and fool you with the other hand, that hand in which you got your attention, doesn’t have any significance besides to distract, to entertain your attention, as much as you imagine this to be most important hand, be the focus of the main action ...

Entertainment ... That's the name of the game you are playing now!

These words are not an invitation to change your beliefs, but are rather an invitation to a deeper investigation on their origin!

The advantage of the first group is that their needs are more immediate, their goals are in the short term, so the experience of frustration is in the short term, which is great because this way, and when you get rid of the beliefs of lack of self-worth, you can understand the obvious: that things have no value in themselves, beyond that which is deceptively attributed them! Thus you may soon start questioning the beliefs themselves, not the method, nor the artist. When the goals are long term, it’s more complicated to understand, it takes longer to have this experience of frustration and therefore this understanding.

Time and space are the raw material of what is called concrete mind! The conception of time and space are basics of the entertainment! When the mind is not focused on aspirations, whatever they may be, then the mechanisms of what is experienced can be seen clearly, can be observed at the origin, where apparently thoughts emerge, right there, even before the second phenomenon occurs, the attribution of importance. When the mind is focused on the realization of the aspirations, these phenomena are completely unnoticed ...

All your dreams, hopes, aspirations are mere entertainment, "are there” to entertain you! This accordion effect, from hope to despair, and from despair back to hope, is the dance of entertainment, is suffering, is the illusion! Where does that which you call your thoughts come from? Does this question seems strange?! If you're not too busy with aspirations, Investigate!

There is only here, now ... there is no tomorrow! There is no future in which you can be happy or unhappy! You are the now, the here, Joy, Totality! Now, is not a concept of the present time in relation to the past and future, now is infinity, is Totality. Happiness has nothing to do with the circumstances, Happiness is not circumstantial! Happiness is Identity!

This is the invitation! Investigate! If you can ...

Blissfully,
Satyavan
